The Controversy of Musical Application

Creativity and musicality in Indonesia are unlimited, ranging from a very young generation called millennial generation a way up to previous generation are still actively involved in any platforms to show off their talents and notions. In regards for getting fame and popularity, some of them might use the easier way to do so which is using media platform filled by many creative and interesting features to attract people's interests, for instance Tiktok, Musically, and other controversial music applications. Nonetheless, the more unique the ideas or notions are, the bigger controversy would be occurred.
Generally, those Musical Applications, in terms of usage is commonly similar, it always depends on how good the filters or features contained on the app. However, This platform triggers several cases from how people deliberate those who use this app as simpleton. Claiming that this app drives our generation to become stupid owing to how they are acting or doing something preposterous relative to the features on that app, like dancing "Dua Jari" with two fingers going up and down following the music and beat, or being and using really bad make up and suddenly alter into someone different in order for showing how pretty or charming that person is, this phenomenon called "Don't Judge Me Challenge". As it becomes worse, The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology has taken a considerable step which is blocking this app, stating that this app contains negative videos deemed to be a bad influence for Youth.
Furthermore, the controversy is immensely continuing into another Social media, effecting and creating cyber bullying upon people who used or got famous after their videos became so much popular. Recently, the ones who got famous are Bowo Alpenliebe and Nurrani. They both got famous after their videos from Musical app getting much attention. These people even got invited to one of the talkshows in national television, adducing that being or getting famous is not as difficult as what people think so far. However, even if this app can bring those people into popularity, people still consider them inappropriately as bad examples of how this app can turn them into. This case is inflicted by their fans who are able to sacrifice anything including their virginity in order to meet their idol and even there is someone who considers him as God and his fans as his prophet. Consequently, Those comments absolutely drive people into hatred of how this app can lead people into negativity.
In essence, there are two sides claiming whether this app is the reason of how that controversy could be occurred or it is due to the people who misuse that app. The ones who claimed this app as the source of the problem adduced that the negativity could happen only if the platform or medium is existed. Hence, blocking the app is the only solution for them to stop this issue. Oppositely, several people claimed that it depends on people to use it, due to there are several platforms as well that can also bring people into negativity but still existed since then. So, they think what people need to do is not concerning or seeing those who got famous by doing something preposterous but only supporting the Individuals who create something creative yet useful for people.
To wrap up, whether this app can bring people into negativity or not. People also need to comprehend every action has its consequence both negatively and positively. So, choosing to do something useful should be the most considerable decision prior to doing something.
